If you are using AutoCAD 2021.1 or AutoCAD LT 2021, you will automatically get all your updates as they become available, right in the Autodesk Desktop App. Just launch the update and you'll start using the new features right away.

To help you quickly identify new features in the AutoCAD 2021.1 user interface, make sure that the "Highlight New Features" option in the Helps menu is enabled.



Customize and sync your favorite Blocks

The latest update lets you mark current, recent or saved favorites Block in gallery tabs, just by right-clicking and copying it to your favorites.

Then easily find them from the new Favorites tab in the Block panel. Easily access and insert each of these Blocks without searching all of your libraries every time you want to insert your most commonly used Blocks.

Plus, your favorite Blocks sync between devices via cloud storage.



Quickly delete your recent library

Based on your feedback, we've added a new feature in this release so you can clear your entire recent Block list by right clicking and selecting “Clear Recent List”. This is also available on the Favorites tab to “Clear Favorites List”.

Improved user experience when using multiple monitors

Another update we made after listening to your feedback is UI improvements when undocking the laptop off one or more monitors. After removing your laptop, the command line, Ribbon panel and toolbar will automatically move to the same position on the screen you are using.
